Roger's Pre-Amplifier Mk I
The pre-amplifier KE83-92A seen in this page was my first attempt in designing a tube pre-amplifier (it was actually my father's 50-years present). It is a well sounding TV-interface for optional (MM) turntable SCART usage. It uses a pair of Qualitronics ECC83's for cascode amplification along with a pair of Telefunken ECC81's as cathode followers. The chassis is handmade of solid Teak.
Main Data:
Power Consumption: 30W@230V/50Hz
Supply Voltage: 300Vdc/20mA
Heater Supply: 6.3Vac/1.2A
Pick-Up Sensitivity: 5mV@47k//150pF
RIAA-out: 500mV/150R
